In the Nordic countries there is a Nordic Commission of the international organization Monastic Interreligious Dialogue (MID).

(In France Dialogue Interreligieux Monastic DIM). Two “Nordic” Dominicans are members in the commission, Sr. Katrin Åmell and P. Arne Fjeld (from Norway). The Commission meets once a year for exchanges on religious experience in different traditions. This year a meeting was held in Copenhagen 30 April to 2 May at the Danish Islamic Center and the Tibetan Buddhist Center at Phendeling. Among the participants were Cistercian Sisters, Dominicans, Muslims, Tibetan Buddhist nuns, Catholic and Lutheran lay people. On the photo taken at the Danish Islamic Center you can see Sr. Katrin as the 5th person from the left and Br. Arne back to the right.
